Pure Victory Notches Allowance Win at Keeneland

Pure Victory picked up the second win of her career in an allowance race at Keeneland on Saturday afternoon.  Breaking from the 1-hole, Pure Victory settled in on the rail and stalked the leaders, Bonita Muneca, Enchante, and Corleone.  She began her move in the final turn and hit the top of the stretch 1/2 length behind Bonita Muneca.  Shane Sellers got her to the the lead in the final half furlong, but had to hold off a second charge by Bonita Muneca.  Pure Victory covered the 8.5 furlongs over the main track in 1:44.03.

Off at 22-1, Pure Victory paid $47.00, $18.60, and $8.20.  The exacta paid $976.60 and the trifecta paid $6,066.40. The 10-cent superfecta paid $14,762.20.

The win improved Pure Victory's record to 2-1-1 in five lifetime starts.  Her earnings increased to $65,850.
