Lemon Juice won his 14th career race with a victory in the 3rd at Belterra Park on Saturday. His record for us improves to 1 win from 3 starts with earnings of $6,160. As mentioned in last night’s email, we had initially planned to send him from the beginning and have him try to take the race wire-to-wire. However, we altered those plans due to the heavy track. Perry Oustz followed the script to a tee and held Lemon Juice in check until they hit the top of the lane. He broke to the outside and got up to win by half a length in a time of 1:18.19.
