Seeking an Empire finished a hard charging 3rd in the 8th race at The Fair Grounds today. Carried wide in the first turn he settled in at the back of the pack through the back stretch. He was hung wide in the last turn before picking up the pace. He closed fast but ran out of room finishing 1 1/2 back.
