Close The Gap Debuts a Winner

Close The Gap debuted a winner in the 9th race at Indiana Grand earlier this evening.

She ran it just like it was drawn up. She got out of the gate very nicely and was able to get over toward the rail to save some ground mid-pack. She stalked the pace through the turn and down the back stretch. A seam opened briefly between the leaders and she pounced on it just before the turn. She took over the lead at the top of the stretch and pulled away to win by three lengths.

Malcolm was very pleased with her effort and said he had a ton of horse left and even had a hard time pulling her up past the wire. We were all very happy with her professionalism before, during and after the race. She handled the full field with no issues whatsoever.
