Copperplate won his second race in a row and his fourth overall with a win in a 5.5-furlong allowance race at Woodbine on Wednesday evening. Breaking from the 11th post, Copperplate was unable to jump to the lead. He settled in 4th position down the stretch before making his move through the turn. He drew even with the leader coming out of the turn. When jockey, Alan Garcia, asked him for more hedrew off easily. The final time was 1:03.1which was just 0.3 seconds off of the track record.
