Irish Aces was an easy winner in the sixth race at Horseshoe Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon. He broke well and went right for the lead from the 3-path with Polyglot rushing up to his outside to stick a nose in front going into the turn. Polyglot built about a three-length lead coming out of the turn with Irish Aces second along the rail and Timetomakemischief in third on his outside. That pair caught up to Polyglot at the half-mile mark with Irish Aces between horses and Timetomakemischief on the outside. Timetomakemischief gave way about mid-way through the far turn while Irish Aces picked up the pressure on Polyglot. Irish Aces finally grabbed the lead as they turned for home. It was all Irish Aces the rest of the way as he pulled away to win by nearly four lengths. Polyglot finished second a couple lengths in front of a fast closing Clyde’s Got a Gun.
