She has three foals of racing age including Speechless, a two-time winner with earnings of more than $75,000. Oh My is a half-sibling to stakes winners Inspired, Silver City, Initiation and Treasure (dam to Preakness winner, National Treasure).
He caught our eye while we were looking at a couple other horses going through the ring ahead of him. We followed him through the back ring, the back chutes and the main ring. He never once turned a hair despite all the activity around him, indicating he has a very good mind. The more we looked, the more we liked him. He is such an exceptional mover and practically floats over the ground, he’s so smooth.
The colt reminds us of our 2YO colt, Easy Wind (by Munnings, the sire of Jack Christopher). Both are handy sorts (not too big, not too small) that come to hand quickly. Easy Wind made it to the races in July (and won on debut). Assuming no setbacks, we can see this colt making his debut in the summer of 2026.
The colt has plenty of size and strength and tracks well through all four limbs. He has a great frame as well. His shoulder angle should translate to a big stride to go along with his powerful hip for thrust and speed.
We expected him to be too expensive as Jack Christopher offspring have been very well received thus far. We spoke with the consignor who assured us the colt would go through with a very reasonable reserve. The seller needed to sell as he wasn’t in a position to take him to a 2YO sale or on to the races himself. With that in mind, we thought we might have a chance. We went a little over budget but couldn’t be happier with our decision.
The colt is eligible for our multi-horse discount. The more you buy, the more you save.
