Storm TemplePilot ran 3rd in a maiden special weight going 5.5 on the turf at Fair Grounds on Monday. She rocketed out of the gate and was on the early lead setting fractions of 22.69 and 46.55. Eventual winner and$150,000 yearling purchase, Tizahandful stalked her down the back stretch and into the turn. Tizahanful took the lead at the top of the stretch and Zipperini closed from the back of the pack to get up for the place.
