Aces High Third In Evangeline Mile

Aces High ran third in the $100,000 Evangeline Mile Stakes on Saturday evening.  He broke well and sat off the shoulder of pace setter, The Pickett Factor.  He poked a head in front in the far turn but eventual winner, Fear The Cowboy, made a move from 4th positionand pulled 1/2 length in front at the top of the stretch.  Aces High dug in and looked like he might rally, but Fear The Cowboy held sway.  Grade III winner, Great Minds, got up at the wire to place.  Aces High is 3-5-4 with earnings of $167,325 from 22 starts.
