Our yearling filly by Elite Power out of A Merry Prankster by Distorted Humor

This filly is the first for our all women’s partnership, Aces and Queens led by Scarlet Shoemaker, wife of Pocket Aces Racing co-founder Jared Shoemaker.

The idea is simple: bring together women who want to experience thoroughbred ownership together and create a group with its own female-led team, identity, energy and community. We’ll work with female leaders in the industry from trainers to jockeys (as often as possible) and of course, buying, training and racing female horses.

And that’s the spirit of this group:

Pocket Aces Racing has the cards! The Queens are ready to play!

We’re looking for women who are ready to:

• invest in thoroughbred racing together
• build relationships with other badass women in the industry
• celebrate the wins from the farm, the training center, the paddock and the winner’s circle
• help shape a new women-led racing community from the ground up

Let’s see more women in ownership and more Queens in the winner’s circle!
