Cyclone Ranger Wins Allowance at Horseshoe Indy

Cyclone Ranger was the winner of the seventh race at Horseshoe Indianapolis earlier this afternoon. He practically walked out of the gate and loped past the stands the first time around and went into the turn leading the second flight of horses in seventh position. He dropped back into eighth coming out of the first turn and continued to take it easy through the back stretch. Despite picking up the pace going into the far turn, he briefly slipped to last. He forced his way to the outside and turned for home in eighth. He made up a ton of ground on tiring horses and had more than enough in the tank to outkick Rockin Justice who was also making a closing move, albeit from a couple lengths closer to the lead.
