Sergios Pride finished 7th, beaten less than 4 lengths, at Indiana Grand on Saturday. He broke from the gate OK and from there was content to settle into a rail trip down the back side. Turning for home he did move out a couple of paths, looking for some running room, and for a brief moment it did look like a hole was going to open up but it closed just as quickly. The fact is, he ran an even race and maybe if he was able to quicken a little more he could have made some better racing luck for himself.
