Sergios Pride Wins Return

Sergios Pride was an 8-length winner in the 6th race at Turfway Park on December 29.  He was making his first start since a win at Belterra Park in May.  Sergios Pride broke well and stalked the leaders down the back stretch.  He collared them in the turn and had a 1-length lead at the top of the stretch.  He pulled away easily to win the open claiming event and earned a career-best 80 Beyer figure.  Alonso Quinonez piloted Sergios Pride to his 4th career win.  Sergios Pride paid $11.20, $4.60 and $3.40.
